Next Multicultural Team Meeting

June 5, 2008

10:00 a.m.

DBA Office

We'll hear from Tony Mathews, pastor of North Garland Baptist Fellowship. Tony has served as pastor of this multiracial congregation for the past 15 years. We look forward to a great time of discussion. Free copies of Tony's book, There's More Than One Color in the Pew, will be available to everyone in attendance.

"Dutch-treat" lunch afterward.

These Team meetings have all been great, and I'm certainly looking forward to this one.
At the last meeting, I think my "address" for the quotation was incorrect--the correct "address" is "The Epistle to Diognetus."
[The quote was "(For Christians) Every foreign land is their fatherland, and yet for them every fatherland is a foreign land."]
Let me say a special thanks to all the Team members. God bless, Jim Klassen.

I will do my best to be at the meeting. Steve Blow is married to my (former) Middle School Teacher at Kimbrough MS in Mesquite.
